How to play Guess the Note
- Press Play: you’ll hear a C, then the mystery note. Compare the two — how far did it move, and in which direction?
- Name the note. Singing up the scale from C (“do, re, mi…”) until you match the mystery note is a great way to find it.
- Start with the notes of the C major scale, then add sharps and flats, then a second octave.
- Think you have perfect pitch? Switch the reference off and name each note from nothing.
