- Why it works
- Changing between chords quickly is what makes songs possible. Counting your changes turns practice into a game — and shows you improving day by day.
- Your progress
- Best scores and your practice streak are saved in this browser. No account needed.
- Listen mode
- Hears your chords through the microphone and counts changes for you. Sound is analyzed on your device and never recorded or sent anywhere.
How to do one-minute changes
- Pick two chords you’re learning. Play each one slowly first so you know the shapes.
- Press Start, then switch between the two chords as many times as you can in one minute — strum once each time you land a chord cleanly.
- Tap the button (or press Space) every time you change. Only count changes where every note rings.
- Do it once a day. Your score will climb fast — 30 changes a minute is a good goal before moving on.
- In Listen mode the trainer uses your microphone to hear which chord you’re playing and counts each change for you. Strum every chord clearly and let it ring; changes with muted or buzzing strings may not count — which is the point. If it misses one, tap to add it.
- In Play along mode, the chords switch in time with a click: land each chord on the beat.
