G G7 C G
Amazing grace, how sweet the sound
G D
That saved a wretch like me
G G7 C G
I once was lost, but now am found

Was blind, but now I see

How precious did that grace appear

The hour I first believed

How to use the song sheet builder

  1. Paste a song from anywhere — a lyrics site, your notes app, an old text file. Put each line of chords above the lyric it belongs to, or write chords inline in square brackets.
  2. Pick your instrument at the top of the page. The sheet shows a diagram for every chord in the song, once each, in the order they appear.
  3. Use Transpose to move the song into a key that suits your voice. Sharps and flats are spelled correctly for the new key.
  4. On guitar or ukulele, try the suggested capo: it keeps the song in the same key but lets you play easier chord shapes (a song in B♭, for example, becomes G shapes with a capo on the 3rd fret).
  5. Print the sheet, save it to your songs on this device, or copy a link to share it — the link contains the whole song.
