Chromatic Tuner
Shows the note you’re playing and how many cents sharp or flat it is — for any instrument or voice.
–
Tap “Start tuner”, allow the microphone, and play a string.
- How it works
- Allow microphone access, then play one string (or note) at a time. The needle shows how far sharp or flat you are.
- Private
- Sound is analyzed on your device and never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
How to tune with a chromatic tuner
- Start the tuner and play or sing a single, steady note.
- The big letter is the nearest note; the needle shows how many cents (hundredths of a semitone) you are from it.
- Adjust until the needle sits in the green zone in the middle — within 5 cents is in tune for almost any purpose.
