How to play it · Open position

  1. Lay your index finger (1) flat across 3 strings at the 2nd fret — this is the barre.
  2. 4th string (G): play open G
  3. 3rd string (C): 2nd fret, held by the barre D
  4. 2nd string (E): 2nd fret, held by the barre F♯
  5. 1st string (A): 2nd fret, held by the barre B
